Italian console table from the late 19th century. Empire-style furniture, carved and veneered in high-quality mahogany. The console table features a spacious central drawer and a fabulous marble top of good size and serviceability (see photo). Adorned with gilded and chiseled bronze decorations (see photo).
A console table for the living room or study, beautifully sized and proportioned, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Beautifully patinaed, it shows some minor signs of age. The frame is made of walnut and softwood. Structurally sound and solid, the console table is in good condition.
