Lacquered and gilded double bed in Louis XVI style

Italian double bed from the mid-20th century. A Louis XVI-style furniture made of finely carved, lacquered, and gilded wood, it features beautiful lines and a pleasing décor. The bed comprises four separable elements (headboard, footboard, and two side panels) for easy movement and placement within the home. The headboard is adorned with a recently replaced fabric-upholstered panel, in excellent condition and already cleaned.

The headboard and footboard are adorned with columns featuring gilded pine cones (see photo). A bed of highly refined and elegant furnishing, suitable for antique dealers and interior decorators. The bed can accommodate an internal frame (not included) with the following maximum dimensions: W 163 x D 200 cm. Structurally sound and solid, in overall good condition.
