Scenic 20th century painting, cherubs game with animals

Italian painting from the mid-20th century. Oil artwork on a board with a particular shape depicting a cheerful and charming subject, cherub games with animals. A large tree dominates the composition while on its branches we find splendid cherubs intent on playing. Some swing on the swing, others climb together with magnificent monkeys and squirrels to reach the birds' nests above. We find owls and beautiful herons soaring in the sky while some children rest at the foot of the tree. Frame with a particularly rare shape in carved and painted wood, with some signs of aging. Painting that has undergone restoration with color recovery in some small points, overall in excellent state of conservation. Sight size H 115 x W 124 cm.
