Louis XVI style writing desk from 1920s

Italian writing desk from the first half of the 20th century. Large and impressive furniture in Louis XVI style, richly inlaid with floral decorations in walnut, burl, rosewood, maple, ebonized wood and fruitwood. Finished desk for the center equipped with three parallel drawers placed under the top and two side doors that offer 4 drawers/filing cabinets per door (see photo). Large and excellent service top, also ideal for professional use. Rich inlay on the top with a central floral cup (see photo). Furniture of excellent solidity and stability supported by 8 inverted pyramid-shaped feet, also inlaid. Writing desk for the living room or study, built in a single non-disassembled body, for antique dealers and interior decorators. It shows some signs of wear and tear and has recently undergone conservative restoration (see photo). Structurally sound, furniture overall in good condition.
